Nokesville Gives Back
The Nokesville School recently held a book drive, organized by Nokesville parent, Chris Park, to benefit another school in Prince William County that needed help to provide their students with extra summer reading material. Through the generosity of Nokesville and others, they were able to meet their goal. The school was very appreciative and wanted to extend their gratitiude to the Nokesville School Community.  Great job Nokesville!

Brentsville's National Honor Society Donation

For the first two weeks of May, Brentsville's National Honor Society collected various school supplies to be donated to students and teachers at The Nokesville School. They collected over 500 items, including binders, notebooks, pencils, and pens. Sara Cloonan, President of Brentsville's National Honor Society, is pictured donating the supplies to Anaid Shaver, Middle School Counselor.

Thank you National Honor Society for your generous gift to The Nokesville School!

Family Life Education Information
Prince William County Public School curriculum includes a comprehensive, sequential, abstinence-based, age-appropriate, Family Life Education curriculum. Although the Family Life Education curriculum is highly compatible with existing curricula and serves to enrich the educational experiences of students in Prince William County Public Schools, objectives in the Family Life Education curriculum may be considered sensitive by some parents/guardians. Therefore, parents are afforded the opportunity to opt their children out of instruction involving this curriculum. Unless you indicate otherwise, your child will be included in instruction that involves Family Life Education.
Family Life Education objectives for each grade level and course are available at school and online at Click here for the opt out form.

The First Day
We had a wonderful first day at The Nokesville School! Students and staff were enthusiastic about our building and all of the possibilities ahead. We had some visitors this morning to publicize our opening, including a reporter from a local newspaper and a news crew from Channel 7. You can view that story online here.
We look forward to a phenomenal year ahead. Thanks for being a fantastic community.
We would like to officially welcome you to the inaugural year of The Nokesville School! It was exciting to see so many of our families at Kindergarten Orientation and our Open Houses.
Middle school students who did not receive their schedule at Open House will need to report to the gymnasium to receive their schedule on the first day of school.
We are looking forward to an excellent first school year. It's a new day at Nokesville and we are thrilled that you are starting this new school with us.
