4-H Gardening Project
The Nokesville School students are invited to join the Nokesville School 4-H After School Gardening Project - a volunteer-oriented program, with goals of beautifying the school by managing and maintaining the current trees and plants and creating additional gardens in a variety of locations on the property throughout the school year. The workload is arduous and they will get dirty - please explain this to your student so that they know what to expect. We will meet on Tuesdays beginning tomorrow, April 14th, immediately following school until 4:30pm. RSVP forms are required for attendance, and email and phone numbers in case of inclement weather or cancellation. Many parent volunteers are needed as well. To join and participate, please contact Sandy Arnold at or you can text or call her at 703-201-4322. Enrollment forms necessary to participate
Nokesville School's 1st Bike Rodeo
We will be holding a Bike Rodeo on April 25th, for our K-8th graders.  The goal of our Bike Rodeo is to encourage more students to be active while learning basic bicycle safety, maintenance and some rules of the road.  Participants must be registered prior to attending, and all participants are responsible for bringing their own bikes and helmets to the rodeo.  For safety reasons, parents are required to stay during their rider’s session.
We are partnering with ENDORPHIN FITNESS of Prince William County, a local Cycling and Triathlon coaching company which specializes in working with youth, in hosting our Bike Rodeo.  For more information and registration form click here.

Our students have the distinction of attending a newly named PWCS School of Excellence. This is the 11th year Nokesville has earned the coveted title.
School of Excellence is the highest recognition awarded to schools by the PWCS School Board. It signifies high levels of performance on state accreditation and Annual Measurable Objectives and shows that our school is moving toward the goals of the Division’s Strategic Plan.
Congratulations to our phenomenal staff who helped us earn this important indicator of student success.
Dress Code
At our October 2014 Advisory Council meeting, we developed and refined our dress code expectations and guidelines. In compliance with Prince William County regulations and to achieve our goal of having a safe, respectful, and productive school environment, some items will be considered inappropriate dress for The Nokesville School:

The First Day
We had a wonderful first day at The Nokesville School! Students and staff were enthusiastic about our building and all of the possibilities ahead. We had some visitors this morning to publicize our opening, including a reporter from a local newspaper and a news crew from Channel 7. You can view that story online here.
We look forward to a phenomenal year ahead. Thanks for being a fantastic community.
We would like to officially welcome you to the inaugural year of The Nokesville School! It was exciting to see so many of our families at Kindergarten Orientation and our Open Houses.
Middle school students who did not receive their schedule at Open House will need to report to the gymnasium to receive their schedule on the first day of school.
We are looking forward to an excellent first school year. It's a new day at Nokesville and we are thrilled that you are starting this new school with us.
